Yes, I put up an article on digg.com a few weeks ago about finding out how to get into the test menu of the phone. I beat my head against a wall for two days trying to figure out how I could use this to my advantage for a project I’ve been working. Well, I couldn’t find much use for it. Yeah, you could change the volume of your earpiece (huge complaint on Cingular’s forums). But, what else? Well, not much.

Why would someone name their son Epluribus? His mother probably didn’t realize she was calling herself a tramp. Epluribus came from the phrase, E pluribus unum, our national motto until 1956.

Perhaps she was trying to say, “Out of many, one”?

Okay folks, I’m not sure how much this is going to help but I’ve found a way to get to some type of diagnostic menu. Like any program, someone left a hole. It appears this is the only way to get to diagnostic menu at the moment. Read more »
